SIM Recharge on GlobalNet Recharge your SIM cards with SatCom Global (formerly World Communication Center) at www.SatComGlobal.net.   Log into GlobalNet, SatCom Global's custom website dedicated to the provisioning of airtime services.  If you do not have a current login, contact your SatCom Global Account Manager or call 800.211.2575 to set up your account. In order to recharge an existing Iridium SIM card: Please have a current SatCom Global / WCC SIM card ready; we can not recharge other service provider’s SIM cards. The SIM card must active or less than 90 days expired. You will need to order a new SIM card if your account has been expired for more than 90 days past the expiry date. If you attempt to charge an expired card you will incur fees up to 5% of your attempted transaction.

What's the status of my SIM card?   Simply dial 2888 from your Iridium satellite phone to check the status of your prepaid SIM card, including the date it will expire and how many minutes are left on the card. You can also send an email to our 24/7 Help Desk at helpdesk@satcomglobal.com and inquire as to the status of your SIM.   Expired Account – over 90 days If your Iridium SIM card is already expired over 90 days Iridium has completely deactivated the satellite phone number associated with that SIM is reassigned to a new user.  You may see a message on the Iridium phone display screen that says “Emergency Calls Only” or “Invalid Account.”  When you place an outgoing call, regardless of the number you will hear a recording that says, “Only Emergency calls allowed”.   Expired Account – under 90 days  If your Iridium SIM card is expired less than 90 days the remaining minutes will not roll over but you may place an order to recharge without purchasing a new SIM card.  You will also retain your existing satellite phone number. Not Expired Account If your account has not hit its expiry date, minutes roll-over from previous term to your new term when you renew and you will retain your existing satellite phone number.
